I am soooo excited for this that I can hardly stand it!! Being as obsessed with Lululemon as I am, my husband, my sister, and her boyfriend are all headed up to Vancouver this summer to run the SeaWheeze half-marathon they are putting on. I am stoked!! I just received our training packet via email this week which kick starts our next 13 weeks of training. Each week is made up of three runs and two yoga sesh’s. I’m all over the yoga, but the running….. ok so I’m major slow and my work is cut out for me. I don’t know what in the world possessed me to go for a 10 minute mile (we had to put in our estimated times during registration). YIKES!! At least they are sending us some free shorties for the training (can’t wait!!).
Not only am I a super slow runner, but I have a REAL hard time pushing myself. For example, Lulu’s training schedule says that for many of the drills I should be running between “conversations are difficult” and “you may question your very survival/sanity.” I’m going to go out on a limb and say that most of my runs are more along the lines of “look at that pretty flower!” So yeah, I’m off to a rough start. No matter what, I’m getting my booty in to gear and training starts now.
The better equipped I can get my runs, the more I deserve to get myself some new Lulu gear at the event. If that isn’t motivation, I don’t know what is!!!
